HOW LONG IS A SESSION?

The frequency and length of the treatment sessions will depend on the specific needs of the client and the family.

There will always be time at the end of the session to go over home practice, discuss next steps, and answer any questions.

WHAT IS THE COST FOR SERVICES?

The fees for speech-language pathology services are set in accordance with the Alberta Speech-Language Association of Private Practitioners.

DO YOU DIRECT BILL?

At this time, we do not provide direct billing.

 

We do provide you with the required paperwork to submit to your insurance provider to obtain reimbursement. Most insurance providers and employer benefits plans have coverage for speech pathology services but please speak with your insurance provider directly.

ARE INDIVIDUAL SERVICES COVERED BY HEALTH BENEFITS?

Private speech and language services are covered by many extended health insurance plans.

Many employers’ benefit plans provide coverage, up to a certain amount, similar to massage therapy or physiotherapy.

WHERE IS ALIGNED INTERVENTION SERVICES LOCATED?

We are located within the Bonnyville Medical Clinic (101-4610 50 St, Bonnyville).

 

When you arrive, please take a seat in the waiting area and we will be out to meet you at the time of your appointment. 

DOES ALIGNED INTERVENTION SERVICES OFFER SERVICES FOR OTHER AREAS OF INTERVENTION?
(e.g., OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING)

LATE POLICY

If the client arrives late:

​

  • the session duration will be adjusted accordingly.

 

  • the session will end at the original scheduled time in order for the next client to be seen on time.

 

  • the full session fee will be charged.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

24 hour notice is required for all cancellations.

​

Missed appointments and all cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in the full session fee being charged.​
